I know that buying or selling a home is one of the most important things you will ever do, and I want to help make that experience as smooth as possible.
I’ve gained lots of education and experience over the years, holding roles as a leader and entrepreneur in various industries. What remained central is being customer-focused. This approach has helped me to provide satisfaction for my customers in real estate, above and beyond the services I’m required to provide.
The passion I have for my work began well before my real estate career. It began at home. My father worked days as an electrician for AT&T and took on evening/weekend jobs from local families and businesses to help support my mother and my 6 younger siblings. At the age of 12, he began taking me out evenings and weekends training me on residential/commercial electrical wiring jobs. He taught me the importance and honor of maintaining a good work ethic and earning the trust of our clients.
By age 16, I had already met my amazing wife, Denise, and knew I would marry her, developed a love for music, and had the vision to form an a cappella singing group. My singing group, 14 Karat Soul, ushered in more than two decades of entertainment, touched many lives, and proved lucrative; while Denise has continued to be the gift that keeps on giving. She has always been the glue that keeps my family together and has maintained a consistent and respected career of her own as an Executive Assistant from high school on through to her well-deserved retirement in 2016.
I bootstrapped my music career using my training at Chubb Institute for Computer Technology in Business Computer Programming and Problem Solving. Computer Technology and continued education helped to provide for Denise and our two children until I stepped into my entertainment career full-time in 1991.
Working evenings, weekends, and vacations performing, and touring with my singing group was well worth it. Some of our clients were Sesame Street, Between The Lions, Saturday Night Live, and Disney. We toured throughout the US, Europe, and Japan. I was able to establish an independent recording label with major distribution and designed/built a number of state-of-the-art recording studios, where I wrote/produced years of musical recordings.
There were a few roles that were pivotal and worth mentioning, as it relates to the value I add as a realtor. I have had experience as a Bank Teller, Payroll Specialist, Accounting Clerk, and Systems Analyst/Programmer/Applications Specialist. My career experiences honed my ability to identify needs, create custom solutions, communicate effectively, and be reliable. I still enjoy the memory of those experiences to this day.
By 2003, I decided to travel less and spend more time at home with my family and began my transition into real estate.
Since earning my real estate license in 2005, I have enjoyed many productive years as a Realtor, meeting, and working with some of the most wonderful people and families I’ve ever met.
My extensive experience and expertise will benefit you whether you are looking to buy or sell a home.
